New releases from Musical producer and guitarist Assaf Ayalon's upcoming solo album.
Ayalon presents us with the new materials without mediation, as he plays almost all instruments by himself creating an intimacy with the listener in order to deliver the messages he wants to convey. In the first two singles from the new album Resurrection & Lullaby, he takes us on a journey deep into his musical roots, with acoustic guitar reefs, lyrics that cut to the bone and his rugged but gentle voice.
Rewire, his debut album which released in 2016, characterized in its blues and rock-folk beat with influences such as JJ Cale, Knopfler & Dylan.
Ayalon began his musical career in the 90s as a guitarist and producer of the legendary Israeli reggae group "Roots Africa".
Collaborating with major artists, Ayalon produced some of the most successful albums released in Israel in the past decade.
In 2000 he started a long term collaboration with Mosh Ben-Ari – a well known Israeli singer songwriter. Ayalon musically produced three of Ben-Ari's albums – all of which included major radio hits and topped sales.
In 2007 he discovered young artist Alma Zohar. Zohar's first album "Dabri" (Speak Up) was released in 2008 sold double gold within few month. The album was voted "album of the year 2008" and won Zohar the title "Singer of the year 2008". Assaf Ayalon won the "Acum" award (the Israeli "grammy") for the musical production of this album.
Over the years Ayalon collaborated with many other artist, producing albums and live shows, amongst which were Beit Habubot, Hatikva 6, Meir Banay and many more.
